Joseph “Joe” Duggar, famous for starring on 19 Kids and Counting and its TLC spinoff, Counting On, was arrested for allegedly molesting a child back in 2020. The Bay County Sheriff’s Office announced the news of his arrest on March 18, 2026, in a public statement, with a breakdown of Joseph’s charges.
As most reality TV fans can recall, Joseph’s disgraced brother, Josh Duggar, was placed behind bars in 2021 for one count of receipt of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
Here, learn about the charges Joseph — who shares multiple children with his wife, Kendra — is facing, the potential prison time he could serve if found guilty, and what he was accused of.
Is Joseph Duggar in Jail?
Yes, according to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook post, Joe was taken into police custody on March 18, 2026, and “is currently awaiting extradition to Bay County.”
What Did Joe Duggar Do?
Joe was accused of sexually abusing a 9-year-old girl while on a family vacation in Panama City Beach in 2020. The victim, now 14, participated in an interview with investigators, according to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office, and she described multiple alleged incidents involving the reality TV personality.
“On March 18, 2026, Bay County investigators were contacted by a detective with the Tontitown Police Department regarding a report of past sexual abuse,” the sheriff’s office’s statement read. “The 14-year-old victim participated in a forensic interview, where she disclosed several incidents involving Duggar that occurred during a family vacation in Panama City Beach when she was 9-years-old. According to the investigation, the incidents took place in 2020 while the family was staying at a residence on Danny Drive.”
The victim claimed that Josh “repeatedly asked her to sit on his lap” at the time. Throughout the family vacation, he also “manipulated the victim’s underwear and grazed her genitals. Duggar would also continue to rub his hands on her thighs,” the sheriff’s office continued.
Joe apologized for his actions, and the alleged incidents stopped, the sheriff’s office’s statement read. Investigators then discovered that the victim’s father confronted Joseph about the allegations on March 17, 2026, and Joe confessed to the father and to Tontitown detectives.
Joseph Duggar’s Child Molestation Charges Explained
Joseph was charged with lewd and lascivious behavior – molestation of a victim less than 12 years old and lewd and lascivious behavior conducted by a person 18 years or older, according to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office.

Joseph Duggarand Kendra Duggar (née Caldwell) have been raising their family in their home state of Arkansas. The spouses have welcomed several children since their courtship and subsequent marriage in 2017. And after reports suggesting that they welcomed a fourth child at one point, many are curious how many kids Joe and Kendra share.
Joe and Kendra’s family made headlines in March 2026 when he was arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious behavior – molestation of a victim less than 12 years old and lewd and lascivious behavior conducted by a person 18 years or older, the Bay County Sheriff’s Office announced in a statement. Police noted that investigators were contacted by the Tontitown Police Department regarding a report of alleged past sexual abuse involving a 9-year-old girl in 2020. The victim, now 14, claimed that Joseph molested her during a family vacation in Panama City Beach.
“The victim reported Duggar repeatedly asked her to sit on his lap,” the sheriff’s office’s statement read. “As the vacation continued, he also asked her to sit next to him on a couch and covered them with a blanket. During this time, Duggar manipulated the victim’s underwear and grazed her genitals. Duggar would also continue to rub his hands on her thighs. The victim stated Duggar eventually apologized for his actions, and the incidents stopped after the apology.”
Police added that the victim’s father confronted Joseph about the allegations on March 17, 2026, and that the Counting On alum admitted his actions to the father and to Tontitown Detectives.

If you’ve ever wanted homemade bread without all the work, this slow cooker bread is my favorite easy trick. As a busy mom, I love that a few simple ingredients and my slow cooker turn into a warm, soft loaf with hardly any effort.
The Best Things About This Slow Cooker Bread
Soft and delicious every time: The slow cooker creates a tender, fluffy loaf that tastes just like homemade bread should.
No oven needed: Your slow cooker does the baking, which is perfect when you don’t want to heat up the kitchen or your oven is already in use.
Fresh homemade bread anytime: You can make a warm loaf whenever the craving hits without planning a big baking project.
Slow Cooker Bread Ingredients
Yeast: You can use active dry yeast in place of instant yeast. You will need to increase the rise time by 20-30 minutes, as it is not as fast-acting as instant yeast.
Flour: You can use bread flour instead of all-purpose. The type and brand of flour you use will determine how much water it needs. You may need to add more water to your dough.
Water Temp: Aim for 100-110 degrees. Use an instant-read thermometer to make sure your water is not too hot, or it will kill the yeast.
Oil: I used olive oil; you can use any cooking oil you prefer.
How to Make Slow Cooker Bread
I know some of you are intimidated by making bread, but trust me, this recipe is simple. Follow my instructions below, and while it cooks, make some honey butter or Texas Roadhouse cinnamon butter to enjoy with it when it’s done!
Mix and Rise
Mix: To the bowl of a stand mixer, add warm water, sugar, and instant yeast. Mix and let proof for 5 minutes, until the yeast dissolves and starts to turn foamy.
Combine: Add all-purpose flour, olive oil, and salt. Using a dough hook, knead the dough on low speed until it forms a smooth ball and begins to pull away from the sides and bottom of the bowl. This will take about 4-5 minutes. If your bread dough feels dry, add water 1 tablespoon at a time, mixing until fully incorporated. If the dough feels very sticky, add flour, 1 tablespoon at a time, mixing until fully incorporated. The dough should feel tacky and smooth, not sticky or dry.
Let Rise: Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a towel or plastic wrap, and let rise in a warm spot for 30 minutes, until doubled in size.
Form Ball: Spray the inside of the slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Take a piece of parchment paper and place it into the crockpot, making sure it’s big enough to line the sides. Once the dough doubles in size, gently transfer it to the counter. The oil from the bowl should coat the dough so it doesn’t stick. Shape the dough into a round ball by cupping your hands around the sides and pulling it toward yourself. Do this a few times until a smooth, round ball forms.
Cook
Cook: Carefully place the dough ball into the slow cooker and cover with the lid. Turn it on HIGH and cook for 2 hours.
Broiler: Once the bread is done cooking, the top of the loaf will be pale. If you want the crust to be golden on top, place the bread on a baking sheet and broil for 3-4 minutes. Remove the slow cooker bread to a wire rack and let it cool completely before slicing.
Alyssa’s Pro Tip
Slow Cooker: I used a 6-quart oval slow cooker. I don’t recommend anything smaller than 5 quarts, as the bread needs room to expand.
To the bowl of a stand mixer, add 1 cup warm water, 2 tablespoons sugar, and 1 packet instant yeast. Mix and let proof for 5 minutes, until the yeast dissolves and starts to turn foamy.
Add 3 cups all-purpose flour, 2 tablespoons olive oil, and 1 teaspoon salt. Using a dough hook, let the dough knead on low speed until the dough forms a smooth ball and begins to pull away from the sides and bottom of the bowl. This will take about 4-5 minutes. If your dough feels dry, add water 1 tablespoon at a time, mixing until fully incorporated. If the dough feels very sticky, add flour, 1 tablespoon at a time, mixing until fully incorporated. The dough should feel tacky and smooth, not sticky or dry.
Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a towel or plastic wrap, and let rise in a warm spot for 30 minutes, until doubled in size.
Spray the inside of the slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Take a piece of parchment paper and place it into the crockpot, making sure it’s big enough to line the sides.
Once the dough is doubled, gently remove it to the counter. The dough should be coated in oil from the bowl so it doesn’t stick to the counter. Shape the dough into a round ball by cupping your hands around the sides of the dough and pulling it towards yourself. Do this a few times until a smooth round ball is formed. Carefully place the dough ball into the slow cooker and cover with the lid. Turn it on HIGH and cook for 2 hours.
Once the bread is done cooking, the top of the loaf will be pale. If you want to add an even golden color to the top, place the bread on a baking sheet and broil in the oven for 3-4 minutes. Remove the bread to a cooling rack and let it cool completely before slicing.
Leftover & Make Ahead Instructions
Fridge: Store bread at room temperature in an airtight bag or container for 3–4 days.
Freezer: Wrap bread tightly in plastic wrap and place it in a freezer-safe bag. Store for up to 2 months.
Make Ahead: Make the dough and place it in the fridge to rise overnight. The next day, shape the dough into a ball and let it sit at room temperature for 20–30 minutes before placing it in the slow cooker.
Andy Byronfound himself at the center of unwanted attention in July 2025 after rumors of an alleged affair spiraled out of control on social media. The now-ex-Astronomer CEO was spotted on a Jumbotron at a Coldplay concert embracing his colleague, former Astronomer Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot. Meanwhile, Andy is married to his wife, Megan Kerrigan. Since no one from the company nor Andy himself has commented on the affair allegations, the public is curious about his overall net worth and fortune.
What Is Andy Byron Worth?
Andy’s net worth ranges between $20 million and $70 million, according to various reports.
According to a May 2025 Astronomer press release, Astronomer announced it had received new funding of $93 million, which Byron commented on.
“While this is just one step in Astronomer’s journey to build a durable, lasting software company, we’re thrilled to have one of our earliest investors, Bain, leading the round,” Andy said, according to the press release. “All of our investors are committed to Astronomer’s long-term vision because of our recent momentum, the massive market demand for the platform we’re building, and the macro tailwinds that support our vision. Whether it’s getting enterprise AI into production at scale, maximizing data platform value through cost optimization, or just driving more value from data in general–everything we do at Astronomer is at the heart of boardroom conversations across the world.”
Astronomer Company’s Overall Net Worth & Revenue
Astronomer has seen consistent financial growth since its 2015 inception. According to Tracxn, Astronomer was founded that year by Ry Walker, Greg Neiheisel and Pete DeJoy and has a total funding of $376 million. In 2025 alone, the company secured $93 million in Series D funding, according to a press release.
The press release indicated that the Series D funding for Astronomer was led by Bain Capital Ventures, Salesforce Ventures and the company’s existing investors, Insight, Meritech and Venrock. The company vowed to use the new funding to “expedite research and development, and to strategically expand the company’s international presence.”
There are rumors that Astronomer has an overall net worth of more than $1 billion as of 2025.
Who Is Andy Byron’s Wife Megan?
Andy is married to his wife, Megan. Not much is known about her, but social media users were quick to point out that a Facebook profile with the name Megan Kerrigan Byron had been updated shortly after Andy’s affair rumors spread in July 2025. It appeared that the last name “Byron” had been removed from the unverified Facebook profile.
Did Andy Byron Really Have an Affair With Kristin Cabot?
Andy has not publicly addressed the affair allegations, though Kristin has insisted that he told her that he was divorcing his wife at the time they got together. For her part, Kristin was in the process of divorcing her husband.
Rumors quickly spread on July 17, 2025, that Andy was having an affair with Kristin after the duo was spotted on a Jumbotron at a Coldplay concert in Massachusetts. Andy had his arms wrapped around Kristin until they realized they were being featured on the kiss cam. They immediately let go of each other, while Andy ducked and Kristin walked away.
To add fuel to the fire, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin joked about their reaction, saying, “All right, come on, you’re OK. Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” according to Newsweek.
Astronomer released a formal statement about the situation via LinkedIn on July 18, 2025. It read, “Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability. The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter and we will have additional details to share very shortly.”
Shortly thereafter, andy stepped down from his position at the company.
It’s an understatement to say that Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have a big family. As the name of their former TLC show explains, the couple have 19 Kids and Counting. With so many kids, it’s easy for even a casual fan of the show to lose track of all their children. The kids range in age, and their eldest is Josh, and their youngest is Josie.
The main series 19 Kids And Counting was canceled in 2015, but many of the Duggar children appeared in the spin-off show Counting On, which ran for 11 seasons, before it was cancelled in 2021. The show was canceled in wake of Josh’s arrest for child pornography. The Duggar family has their fair share of drama, which has been detailed in Jill Duggar‘s new memoir. Learn more about all 19 of the Duggar children here.

Josh

The oldest Duggar is also the most controversial. Michelle gave birth to Josh in March 1988. Josh was arrested on child pornography possession charges in April 2021. The eldest Duggar has been married to his wife Annasince 2008. The pair have seven kids together. Josh was found guilty on two counts of child porn charges, and he was sentenced to 12 and a half years in prison. After his initial conviction, his sentencing was extended by two months in March 2022. He’s currently serving time at FCI Seagoville in Dallas, Texas, and his expected release date is October 2, 2032.
Michelle and Jim Bob had their first daughter in January 1990. Jana says that she’s a “home remodeler” and “gardening enthusiast” in her Instagram bio. She listed some of her favorite activities on the Duggar family website. “I love road trips and travel, whether it’s visiting historical places, going on mission trips, or visiting friends and family,” she wrote. While Jana has many siblings that are married, she has also usually kept a good sense of humor about staying single while so many of the other Duggars get hitched.
Jana did find herself in some legal trouble in December 2021, when she was charged with a misdemeanor “endangering the welfare of a minor charge.” She pleaded guilty and paid a fine, per People. Jana also made headlines in February 2023, when she joined her brother James on a trip to Italy, via The Sun.
John
John’s wife is Abbie, who he married in 2018. (TLC)
Born John-David in January 1990, the second oldest Duggar boy is Jana’s twin-brother. John has been married to his wife Abbie, who he met in 2018, for about three years, and the pair have two children. John is a pilot, while his wife is a nurse, and the couple are very active in assisting the charitable organization MEDIC Corps. The pair announced the birth of their second child Charliein an October 2022 Instagram post. They also have an older daughter Gracie. “We are now a family of 4!” they wrote in Charlie’s announcement. “We welcomed little Charlie into the world last month and have been soaking up newborn snuggles ever since! We are so thankful to God for this precious gift!”
Jill
Jill has distanced herself from many of her siblings. (TLC)
Born in May 1991, Jill Duggar Dillard has been married to her husband, Derick Dillard, since 2014, and the couple have three sons Israel,Samuel, and Frederick together. While she’s undoubtedly still an important part of the family, Jill doesn’t necessarily have the strongest bond with her folks and announced that she was distancing herself from them in October 2020. “We’re not on the best terms with some of my family. We’ve had some disagreements, but we’re working towards healing definitely and restoration, but we’re having to kind of just take some time and heal,” she said.
During her brother’s trial, Jill took the stand and testified against the family and her father specifically, saying that the relationship turned “toxic,” when she tried to make changes he didn’t agree with. “I saw a whole new side to my dad once my husband and I started making decisions that were best for our family, but not in his best interest. Sadly, I realized he had become pretty controlling, fearful and reactionary. He was verbally abusive. Our relationship is not good,” she said in May 2022.
Jill went after her family more in excerpts from her memoir Counting the Cost which comes out September 12, 2023. Jill claimed that her dad Jim Bob treated her “worse” than her “pedophile brother” Josh. Jill also accused Jim Bob of financial improprieties in how he shared (or failed to share) money from 19 Kids and Counting with his fellow family members, even though their lives were all documented on screen. Jim Bob and Michelle responded to Jill’s claims in a statement to PEOPLE and said that they “love” all of their kids but don’t believe “conflicts” should be handled in “a public forum.”

Jinger Vuolo was born in December 1993. She has been married to former pro soccer player Jeremy Vuolo since 2016, and the couple have two daughters together. The couple co-authored a book together called The Hope We Hold, but it isn’t the only book Jinger has written. She also co-wrote a memoir with her older sisters called Growing Duggar: It’s All About Relationships.
Jinger and Jeremy were among some of the family members to speak out following Josh’s child pornography charges. “We are disturbed to hear of the charges against Josh,” the couple said in an Instagram post. “While this case must go through the legal system, we want to make it clear that we absolutely condemn any form of child abuse and fully support authorities and judicial process in their pursuit of justice.”
Since Josh’s conviction, Jinger has spoken out against him, saying she hasn’t seen a change in him since the prison sentence in a January 2023 interview on The Tamron Hall Show. “Your heart has to be changed from the inside out and only Jesus can truly change that,” she said. “He’s not truly changed. So until God does that, it’s only what God can do.”
Besides her brother, Jinger also called out her family for their strict religious beliefs and rules in a January 2023 interview with People. “His teachings were so harmful, and I’m seeing more of the effects of that in the lives of my friends and people who grew up in that community with me,” she said. “There are a lot of cult-like tendencies.”

We are especially heartbroken by the reality that there are children in the world being harmed and exploited,” they said in May 2021.
Jedidiah
Jedidiah “Jed” Duggar was one of the Duggars’ younger set of twins, born in December 1998. Jed followed in his father’s footsteps and ran for the House of Representatives in Arkansas’ 89th district, the seat in Congress where his dad served for years, in 2020. He married his wife Katey in April 2021. The pair welcomed their first child Truett in May 2022 and their second child Nora in June 2023.
Jeremiah
Jedidiah’s twin brother, Jeremiah has shared many of the interests as his family. He cited his older brothers who are both pilots as the reasons he got certified as a flight instructor, he explained in his Duggar website page. He also worked in construction prior to taking to the sky. He also listed his main hobbies as piano playing and playing sports like football, basketball, and volleyball. He married his wifeHannah in February 2022. He revealed that they had their first child Brynley Noelle on Christmas Day 2022 in an Instagram post.
Jason
Jason was the seventh Duggar boy born in April 2000. Jason didn’t really venture far from some of his family’s main interests like home renovation. He proudly boasts that he’s a contractor and an “outdoorsman” in his Instagram bio. Like his older brother, he also does share in some of the passion for music. On his Duggar website page, he noted that he is always ready to “add a tenor part to just about anything.”
After his brother was sentenced to over 12 years in prison, Jason shared a statement on his Instagram Story. “My heart is grieved over the choices my brother has made. His actions do not reflect that of a Christian believer and have doubtlessly defamed my Lord and Savior’s name!! Joshua’s poor decisions have greatly effected [sic] those around him, in particular his wife, seven children, and our family as a whole,” he wrote. “With that said, I will never stop loving my brother, regardless of what he does, just as my savior has forgiven me, so I have forgiven my brother of his wrongdoings! My prayer is that God will use this circumstance to truly humble him and bring about a true change in his life!”
James
The Duggars had their thirteenth child in July 2001. James also sounds like he’s good with his hands and outdoor activities. He’s interested in chainsaw art, his bio on the Duggar website explained. Although he has a commercial driver’s license, he also seems like he shares some design interests with his family, although he seems more interested in “sketching 3D building designs.”
Justin
Born in November 2002, Justin was the youngest Duggar to tie the knot. He got engaged to Claire Spivey in November 2020, after the couple only dated for two months, but the pair seem happily married. Justin’s page on the Duggar family site explained that the couple got married in February 2021. The couple have shown that they love a DIY project, revealing that they renovated an RV together in January 2023.
Jackson
Jackson was born in May 2004, and he’s the Duggar’s 10th son. His family explained that he has an entrepreneurial spirit, going and mowing lawns on people’s properties once he got his driver’s license. Besides working hard, Jackson apparently has a great sense of humor. “You are one of the best story/joke tellers I’ve ever heard and you certainly keep us laughing,” his parents wrote in an Instagram post, wishing him a happy 16th birthday.
Johannah
After giving birth to six boys in a row, Michelle had Johannah in October 2005. Even though she has four older sisters of her own, her mom wrote in a birthday Instagram post that she is a role model to some of the younger daughters in the family, who “absolutely adore her.” Her hobbies include drawing and playing volleyball, via the Duggar Family.
Jennifer
The youngest Duggars have all been girls, and Jennifer was born in 2007. Her family wrote that she has “an extra-special connection to all the family pets” in her bio, and she also enjoys DIY projects, although unlike many of her siblings who like interior design, Jennifer likes to sew, make candles and cook.
Jordyn
Born in December 2008, the penultimate Duggar, Jordyn loves to spend time with her siblings’ kids and often asks to babysit. While she also enjoys art, her family wrote that she’s “a magnet to children and babies” in her bio. “When a tiny niece or nephew is brought through the door of the main house, she usually comes running down the hall calling dibs on holding them first,” her bio explained.
Josie
The 19th and youngest Duggar baby, Josie, was born in December 2009. She was born prematurely, but her family were thankful for the prayers she received. Her bio said that like some of her older siblings, Josie is passionate about music, and noted that she sang with “near-perfect pitch,” when she was two.
Robert Redfordwas and always will be one of the most respected actors and filmmakers, but his priority was his children and family. The late All Is Lost actor, who died at 89 in September 2025, welcomed several kids during his first marriage, and few of them followed in his footsteps by building their own careers in TV and film.
Learn more about Robert’s children below as we look back on his life and career.
How Many Kids Did Robert Redford Have?
Robert had four children with his first wife, Lola Van Wagenen. However, their first child, Scott Redford, died when he was just 2 1/2 months old from sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), a.k.a “crib death.” SIDS is when a baby, usually within the first year of birth, suddenly dies.
By the end of his life, Robert had two surviving children: Shauna and Amy.
Scott Anthony Redford
Scott was born on September 1, 1959. He was Robert and Lola’s first child. Unfortunately, he died just two months after his birth from sudden infant death syndrome. He was buried in Provo, Utah, where his late father lived during his final years.
Shauna Jean Redford
Shauna was the second child of Robert and Lola. Born on November 15, 1960, Shauna is now a painter and is married to a journalist named Eric Schlosser.
David James Redford
David James followed in his father’s footsteps by becoming a filmmaker and environmentalist. He focused on documentaries and attended Robert’s alma mater, the University of Colorado Boulder to study creative writing and filmmaking. He later obtained a master’s degree in literature from Northwestern University.
Before dying in 2020 from bile duct cancer, David James earned screenwriting credits for films, including Cowboy Up and Skinwalkers. He made his directorial debut with Spin. He had also undergone two liver transplants in his life to manage primary sclerosing cholangitis: a disease that affects the gallbladder and liver.

Dolores Huerta is recognized as a strong labor leader and civil rights activist, but most recently, her name has made headlines for a different reason. In March 2026, renewed attention about César Chávez, who died in 1993, sparked controversy, as sexual abuse allegations against him came to light. As one of Chavez’s closest former collaborators, Huerta’s claims have prompted newfound scrutiny about Chavez’s legacy.
Learn more about Huerta, her connection to Chávez and his controversy below.
Who Is Dolores Huerta?
Huerta is a 96-year-old American labor activist and community organizer best known for her work advocating for farmworkers’ rights. Born on April 10, 1930, in New Mexico, she became a powerful voice in the fight for better working conditions and fair wages. Over the past several decades, Huerta has helped organize strikes, negotiate labor contracts and champion social justice causes, particularly for Latino workers and communities.
The civil rights leader is also credited with coining the slogan “Sí, se puede,” a rallying cry for activists nationwide.
Huerta’s dedication to advocacy has earned her several recognitions, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
How Is Dolores Huerta Connected to Cesar Chavez?
Huerta worked with Chávez as a co-founder of the United Farm Workers (UFW) union. Together, they built one of the most influential labor movements in U.S. history by organizing farmworkers during the 1960s and 1970s. While Chávez often served as the public face of the movement, Huerta played a critical role behind the scenes by negotiating major labor agreements.
Huerta and Chávez’s partnership was central to the success of the UFW, but she eventually came forward with sexual abuse allegations against her former collaborator.
In a March 18, 2026, statement, Huerta accused Chávez of pressuring her to have sex with him on one occasion, then raping her another time.
“I am nearly 96 years old, and for the last 60 years have kept a secret because I believed that exposing the truth would hurt the farmworker movement I have spent my entire life fighting for,” Huerta’s post began. “I have encouraged people to always use their voice. Following the New York Times’ multi-year investigation into sexual misconduct by Cesar Chavez, I can no longer stay silent and must share my own experiences.”
Huerta recalled being a young mother in the ’60s and experiencing “two separate sexual encounters with Cesar.”
“The first time I was manipulated and pressured into having sex with him, and I didn’t feel I could say ‘no’ because he was someone that I admired, my boss and the leader of the movement I had already devoted years of my life to,” Huerta’s statement read. “The second time I was forced, against my will, and in an environment where I felt trapped.”
Huerta also revealed that she got pregnant as a result of Chávez’s sexual abuse. She arranged for the children to live with other families.
“I had experienced abuse and sexual violence before, and I convinced myself these were incidents that I had to endure alone and in secret,” she continued. “Both sexual encounters with Cesar led to pregnancies. I chose to keep my pregnancies secret and, after the children were born, I arranged for them to be raised by other families that could give them stable lives.”
Cesar Chavez Allegations 2026: Controversy Explained
In 2026, renewed scrutiny surrounding Chávez sparked debate about his leadership and personal conduct. As new details continue to emerge, the controversy has prompted other activists and the general public to reassess Chávez’s legacy in the farmworker movement.
As Huerta’s statement pointed out, The New York Times reported that Chávez had groomed and sexually abused female children.
