Auburn football kept its recruiting momentum going through the weekend, this time on special teams.
John Alan McGuire announced his commitment to the Tigers on Sunday, in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
He was one of many recruits on campus for Auburn’s Big Cat Weekend, during which he earned an offer that he committed to just over 24 hours later.
McGuire, who’s going into his senior season at Thompson High School, is ranked as the second-best punter in the country, and the best kicker or punter in Alabama, according to Kohl’s Kicking Camps.
McGuire is also ranked as the No. 21 kicker in the country. He’s the first kicker or punter to commit to Auburn in the 2025 class.
