Crews recovered the body of a man from Wheeler Lake in Limestone County after a boat capsized.
Michelle Williamson of the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office said first responders received a call about 8:11 a.m. Wednesday about a boat that had gone under near the boat ramp in the Cowford Campground area.
Two men were inside the boat.
When it capsized, one made it to shore while the other did not resurface.
Williamson said the body of the other man was recovered at about 1:20 p.m.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim.
