ALABAMA (WHNT) — Totally Cool, a Maryland-based ice cream product manufacturer, is issuing a recall of multiple ice cream products because of a possible listeria contamination.
According to the FDA, more than 60 contaminated products, including ice cream cakes, pints and ice cream cones, were distributed nationwide and are currently available in retail locations and for direct delivery.
Some of the affected brands are:
- ChipWich
- Marco
- Jeni’s (ice cream sandwiches)
- Friendly’s
- Abilyn’s Frozen Bakery
- Hershey’s Ice Cream
- Yelloh!
- Cumberland Farms
- The Frozen Farmer
- AMAFruits
- Taharka
- Dolcezza Gelato
- LaSalle
So far, there have been no reported illnesses related to the possible contamination. Consumers who have recalled products in their freezers are advised to return them to their place of purchase for a full refund.
