After a hot Father’s Day weekend, temperatures have backed off a few degrees, however, expect them to once again rise through the end of the week. Temperatures will likely approach the triple digits this weekend.
If you’re heading outdoors, take your heat precautions, including wearing sunscreen and reapplying it often, drinking plenty of water, wearing a hat and seeking shade often.
Heat index values, or what it will feel like to your exposed skin when you’re outdoors, will climb above 100 degrees this weekend. There will be a slight chance of rain or storms on Sunday.
