Saraland wide receiver Dillon Alfred has re-committed to Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound senior committed to the Rebels in April but decommitted in June.
He later told AL.com that Clemson had moved to the top of his list. However, in a social media post Friday afternoon, he announced he was back in the Ole Miss camp.
“Home is home,” he said. “And there’s no place like home. I’m back and this time it’s for good.”
Alfred caught 35 passes for 586 yards and 6 TDs a year ago for the Spartans while playing alongside two-time Mr. Football Ryan Williams.
Alfred is the 17th-ranked senior in the state, according to the 247 composite rankings. He is the third Saraland senior to commit to an SEC school, joining QB KJ Lacey (Texas) and defensive lineman Antonio Coleman (Auburn).
The Spartans open the 2024 season at home against Jackson on Aug. 23.
