South Alabama on Thursday night picked up a 2025 football verbal commitment from Trae Stevenson, a wide receiver from Germantown High School in Madison, Miss.
Stevenson (6-0, 170) also has scholarship offers from Arkansas State, Georgia State and Jacksonville State, among other schools. He is the Jaguars’ ninth verbal commitment for their 2025 class and second in three days, following George County (Miss.) High School cornerback Kohl Bradley on Tuesday.
Stevenson announced his commitment via social media:
Stevenson caught 49 passes for 842 yards and eight touchdowns as a junior in 2023 at Germantown, a Class 7A program. He is also a standout in track and field for the Mavericks.
The early signing period for high school players begins in December.
