An early-morning shooting at an Etowah County home left one man dead and two people in custody.
Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched at 1 a.m. Thursday to a residence in the 2000 block of Self Street in Altoona.
They arrived to find 35-year-old Tyler Golden dead. He lived at the Self Street home, said Sheriff Jonathon Horton.
A male and a female were taken into custody at the home.
Horton said the investigation is ongoing, and charges are expected.
Additional details were not yet released.
Attalla police, Altoona Fire, Amed Ambulance Service and the Jacksonville State Center for Applied Forensics assisted in the investigation.
