Decatur Fire & Rescue respond to call about ‘boat without passenger’



MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — Decatur Fire & Rescue said crews are assisting with a call about a boat found without any passengers Tuesday morning.

Lieutenant Brandon Sivley with Decatur Fire & Rescue told News 19 that crews were sent to help a rescue squad after receiving a call about a lone boat around River Mile Marker 309.

As of 8:24 a.m., Lt. Sivley said there was no word on if the boat was occupied or not before it was found.
