HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — HEMSI said two people were injured after an incident off of Derrick Street in Huntsville.
HEMSI spokesperson Don Webster told News 19 crews responded to an incident on Derrick Street and Hall Avenue.
He said HEMSI received a call about the incident around 11:46 a.m. Monday.
Webster said a man and a woman were injured and taken to Huntsville Hospital Trauma Services. He told News 19 the woman had been assaulted but was in stable condition.
He said this is an active investigation. News 19 has reached out to learn more about the incident.
