Decatur police say a Lacey’s Spring man died Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash.
The incident happened at about 11:46 a.m. Saturday on U.S. 31 near Fairway Drive S.E.
Police, Decatur Fire, and Morgan County EMS were dispatched to the crash, where Billy Hydrick, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene.
During the preliminary investigation, police determined Hydrick was traveling south on U.S. 31, entered northbound lanes of traffic and collided with another vehicle.
Investigators believe Hydrick suffered a medical emergency, but the investigation is ongoing.
The driver and passenger of the second vehicle were transported to Decatur Morgan Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
