NEW MARKET, Ala. (WHNT) — Moores Mill Volunteer Fire & Rescue said several agencies responded to help with a structure fire Wednesday morning.
News 19 crews on the scene say the structure appears to be a garage.
At 7:31 a.m., the volunteer fire & rescue agency said the fire was under control and crews were working to put it out.
They said drivers should still avoid the area and take alternate routes due to traffic delays in the area.
Around 6:37 a.m., Moores Mill Volunteer Fire & Rescue said there was a structure fire in the area of Bell Factory off Steakly Road and Pine Drive.
The volunteer fire & rescue agency said New Market Volunteer Fire, Central Fire/EMs, Killingsworth Cove Volunteer Fire Department and Huntsville Fire responded to help control the fire.
The agency said drivers could expect delays and possible road closures.
